Top 25 Upcoming Xbox One Games of 2018-2019

August 24, 2019

Hey Guys! It’s Thirdy from Whatoplay! Xbox’s E3 presentation gave us some more
info and games coming to the console. All in all, there are more than 200 games
releasing on the Xbox One from 2018 to 2019. That’s a lot of ground to cover so we picked
the 25 biggest titles. Presenting our 25 most anticipated Xbox One
games of 2018 and 2019, arranged by release dates. Cyberpunk 2077 What with the landmark success of their Witcher
series, everyone’s been anxiously awaiting the arrival of CD Projekt Red’s next would-be
RPG masterpiece. Being the explosive close to Microsoft’s presentation,
the developers have remained mum on the details of their futuristic open world game. But, with their latest trailer, at least we
know we got lots to look forward to in their new world metropolis. It’s set to release in 2019. Battlefield 5 Just a month after the release of their last
teaser trailer, EA draws us in some more with yet another–to be generous–“mystifying”
showcase. So while it follows the theme of not-so revealing
presentations, EA does at least tell us about their next-level destructible environments,
movable artillery, and a possible Battle Royale mode. Their EA Play has also gotten some good feedback,
with reviewers commenting on gameplay changes like aided health-regen and squadmate revival
that encourage more team-based interactions. Starting on a good direction for the Battlefield
franchise, it’s set to release this October 19th. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Exploring more of the possibilities opened
up by their online only action RPG, Massive takes a calculated leap into sequel-dom with
this second installment of their contagion commission. Leaked last March, Ubisoft’s first look at
the game brings us to the nation’s post apocalyptic Capital. There may have been talks of carrying over
progress from the first game to the sequel, but none of it has been confirmed. Hopefully, they’ll do a better job than Bungie. Set to release on March 15th 2019. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Crystal Dynamics’ third and final entry
of the rebooted Tomb Raider franchise brings Lara’s journey to her darkest quest yet. The Mysterious Organization Trinity is on
the verge of changing the world, and it’s up to our heroine to stop them. This Microsoft Exclusive takes Lara to the
ancient Mayan architecture to uncover an ancient relic that could alter the fate of humanity. New gameplay elements and improved graphics
are what’s in store for this groundbreaking send-off. Coming this September 14th. GEARS 5 Rising up to become one of Microsoft’s top
series, Gears 5 is slowly taking on the form of a full-blown franchise. Jebaited with a cutesy Funko Pop title and
a turn-based strategy in the exclusive Gears Tactics, Microsoft ultimately rolled out the
red carpet for their gorgeous grisly shooter. Boasting amped up visuals and, to the dismay
of the twich and youtube chat, a female protagonist, Gears 5 is prepping you up for a badass new
round of locust destruction. No word on new game modes or co-op though. Coming sometime in 2019. Kingdom Hearts III Square Enix’ isn’t holding back with new
information, especially with its recent delay to 2019. The third, and possibly the final entry of
the Kingdom Hearts series takes Sora to his most personal journey yet. Along with the iconic cast of characters from
both Disney and Final Fantasy, this third entry will surely bring in some nostalgic
elements and hardcore gameplay fun. New worlds are revealed such as Frozen, Tangled,
Toy Story and so much more. It’s coming out this January 29, 2019. Jump Force The most ambitious crossover event in Anime
history? Think of it as Bandai Namco’s version of
Square Enix’s Dissidia and NetherRealm’s Injustice. This upcoming fighting game unites your favorite
characters from the Weekly Jump including Goku from Dragonball, Luffy from One Piece,
Naruto from Naruto, and Light from Death Note. There’s more to that coming as the game
goes all out sometime this 2019. Devil May Cry V Fuck yes. CAPCOM’s going back to its roots with a
sequel to the critically acclaimed Devil May Cry 4. Say goodbye to Ninja Theory’s Dante and
rev up your hype engines with Nero and Dante’s return. Unleash your demonic mayhem in the now demonized
streets. Not much story details were revealed, but
gameplay remains as slick as the original with a few improvements. It’s one hell of a ride, and it’s coming
out this Spring 2019. Crackdown 3 Four years after this game was first announced,
it’s finally getting released! This game picks up 10 years after the events
of Crackdown 2. Terry Crews narrates the game filled with
sci-fi weapons, transforming cars to tanks and throwing tanks at spaceships. It’s getting us all excited for its release
on February 22 2019. Ori And The Will Of The Wisps The next bold adventure in Microsoft’s mesmerizing
metroidvania game goes back to the magical forest. This time, Ori meets newfound friends as they
rebuild their home after a mysterious sickness from the previous game. A promising new combat system brings a whole
new light to the cute spirit guardian. On top of that, the game completely improves
on their atmosphere and it’s filled with freshly detailed landscapes. It’s coming out sometime this 2019. Fallout 76 We got Elder Scrolls online, and now Bethesda’s
other great FPS franchise is entering the multiplayer arena. Upgrading their Fallout 4 mechanics and slightly
leaning towards the Battle Royale trend, discover the post apocalyptic West Virginia along with
your friends as you slay monsters and fellow survivors alike. The game also has a single-player option,
for all you loners out there, but shoot-outs and basebuilding just seems like a “more the
merrier” kinda thing. Four times bigger and coming out sooner than
expected, it’s set to release on November 14th, 2018. We Happy Few Do you guys remember this game? This game is about a psychedelicm retro futuristic
little English Town called Wellington Wells, where everyone and everything is so dismal,
all the citizens are constantly on a drug called Joy. If you don’t conform with what the town’s
people call normal, they will beat you up. After so many agonizing delays, this game
is set to release on August 10 2018. HALO Infinite Master Chief returns in this surprising announcement
from 343 Industries. Not much was revealed, but the trailer teased
us with the game’s breathtaking new landscapes including new beasts, alien texts, AI’s,
and so much more. The trailer is serene, catering to new and
old fans of the series. But that’s all we know so far. The game is coming out this 2019. FORZA Horizon 4 This Microsoft exclusive arcade racing game
is speeding towards us! Playground Games, once again, puts gamers
in the driving seat of a plethora of amazing cars where they can drive, drift, and explore
the cities and countryside of Britain. The game will also feature dynamic season
which can affect both the aesthetics of the world, and how the cars will drive. It’s coming in 4K on October 2nd 2018. Divinity Original Sin II Originally released for the PC last year,
Larian Studios’ sequel to their prodigious RPG is finally coming to consoles. Making their name through their deep customizations,
highly interactive environments, and most especially, the inclusion of a Game Master
mode, the Divinity series’ almost emergent gameplay feels like a digital revival of classic
tabletop adventuring. Play split screen co-op with up to three of
your friends, and revel in their immersive, magical universe. Set to release this August 2018 Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
Activision has confirmed that there will be a Call of Duty game this year… well, just like every other year. This year, the game will ship WITHOUT a single
player campaign. What we get instead is a battle royale mode
called Blackout. There are also some big changes like manually
regenerating health using health packs. The devs promised that they will be listening
to what the players will suggest. For now this game is set to release on October
12 2018. Soulcalibur VI Bandai Namco’s 3D and weapon-based fighting
game brings a whole new energy to the series. To celebrate its 20th Anniversary, the game
is keen to new improvements such as the Reversal Edge, a mechanic that allows players to defend
against an oncoming attack quickly and strike back. On top of it all, CD Projekt Red’s Geralt
of Rivia makes a surprising guest appearance as a playable character. It’s coming out this Early 2019. Red Dead Redemption 2 Wear Arthur Morgan’s boots in this Western
themed, Open World Action Adventure game set in 1899. That’s right, this game is a prequel, at
the end of the wild west era. Outlaws and gunslingers are hunted down by
law men. After the many delays, Rockstar announced
that this game is set to release on October 26 2018. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Back in 2015, they said that this action arcade
flight video game will only come out for the PS4, now they’ve just announced that it’s
coming for the Xbox One too! There’s now a VR mode, along with a local
two player mode so you can play with your sibling, or your best bud. Prepare for take off because this game is
coming out later this year! Darksiders III Experience a war torn earth in stunning HD
with THQ Nordic’s third entry to the Darksiders epic. In this sequel, witness the adventures of
the mage Fury as she embarks on a quest to destroy the seven Deadly Sins. It’s another story steeped in mythology, and
it’s gonna look better than ever with the Xbox One X’s 4K resolutions. It’s coming out this 2018. SEKIRO: Shadows Die Twice From the company that brought us the harrowing
Dark Souls games, FromSoftware brings you an all new action adventure experience. Face massive beasts of legend from Japanese
myth, or take down Samurais with your ninja arsenal. Knowing FromSoftware, expect insane difficulty
spikes and patience-testing gameplay mechanics. It’s coming out this 2019. TUNIC
Originally announced with the title Secret Legend in 2015, Tunic is an artful hack and
slash XBox exclusive. This game is an isometric action adventure
featuring a tiny little fox exploring a vast world. There are ancient ruins to explore, monsters
to fight, and secrets to uncover. This one-man indie game is set to release
sometime in 2019. Hitman 2 Agent 47 is back! This time, the world is now a hyper-detailed
sandbox. The developers are hinting that interacting
with the objects and environments will play a bigger role in this game. Apparently, everything in the environment
can be deadly. Unlike the previous title, Hitman 2’s full
story will be released all at once during launch day, November 13 2018. The Surge 2 This is the second game in Deck13’s action
franchise. While Warren, the protagonist of the original
game will make an appearance in this game, you can create your very own character. This game is set in a single central city
with various interconnecting areas. It’s set to release sometime in 2019. Skull and Bones While it can’t escape comparisons with Black
Flag, Skull & Bones proves its truly a game of its own with all the markings of fully-fledged
pirate experience. Revealing a little more its story in the latest
cinematic trailer, takes you on the pirate’s life on the vast Indian Oceans. Choose your ship, gather your crew, and head
on forward to the aquatic battlefield with a few tricks up your sleeve. A combat heavy action-adventure, there probably
won’t be too much time for singing. Coming this 2019. RAGE 2 Whichever side you were on Andrew WK’s unexpected
performance, at least we can all agree about the excitement around RAGE’s latest sequel. So good that even Walmart Canada couldn’t
keep a secret, Bethesda’s showcase gave a special look at what they call “the most insane
open world shooter yet.” It introduces their main character Walker
as he journeys around his wasteland for some rare item. With new abilities, a collector’s edition
tease, and a whole lot of weapon variety–RAGE 2 is going to be a hell of a party. It’s coming in Spring 2019. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ubisoft confirmed Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
last month, and already, there are leaked gameplay screenshots that confirm that this
time, the game is set in Greece. Like its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Origins,
you get a companion eagle to scan the environment for you. There’s also skill trees for Hunter, Assassin
and Warrior. It’s rumored that this game is set to release
sometime in 2019. Metro Exodus The Russian fallout awaits you in 4A Games’
third entry on the acclaimed Metro series. Blending a fantastic story with deadly first
person combat, take down mutated creatures or rogue terrorists in the irradiated Russian
wilderness. Artyom returns as usual and he’s up for
the challenge to rebuild a whole new society outside from the tunnels of the Metro. It’s an atmospheric wonderland, and it’s
coming this February 22, 2019. NBA Live 19 Becoming the underdog to NBA 2K, EA is on
its way to taking back the reins starting with last year’s NBA Live 18. With this year’s edition, they’ve grown even
more confident, coming up to par in realism and immersion using their improved Real Player
Motion. Get to see your favorite superstars’ signature
moves on the fly, whether it’s on the streets or in the big leagues. Set to release this September 7 2018. Thanks for watching our video! You can already pre-order some of these games. Support this channel by using the links on
