The Division 2 Ditches Steam For The Epic Games Store

November 17, 2019

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 launches on PS4,
Xbox One, and PC on March 15th, but there’s something remarkable about that PC release
in particular. Ubisoft announced that it will only be available
on the Ubisoft and Epic Games stores; The Division 2 will not be for sale on Steam. What’s more, it won’t be the last game to
do this. In a blog post, Epic stated it has partnered
with Ubisoft “on additional select titles.” So that doesn’t mean Ubisoft is ditching Steam
entirely, but at least a few games will not appear there. Additionally, Ubisoft revealed its recommended
and minimum specs for The Division 2 on PC. Head over to GameSpot to find out if your
machine can run the game, from 1080p 30 fps all the way up to 4K 60. I’m Tony, and this GameSpot News Update is
ready to take back DC.
