Strictly UPROAR: Furious fans blast Shirley Ballas for saving Chris for ‘personal taste’

 Many Strictly Come Dancing fans were in uproar over Shirley Ballas’ decision to send Alex Scott and Neil Jones home Those tuning in saw Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood opt to save the couple from elimination However, as Burno Tonioli voted for Chris, it was down to the head judge to decide and fans weren’t happy were the reason she gave for sending the former Lioness home  Tonight’s Strictly saw Shirley give the deciding vote as she chose to send Alex home  It came after the couple were criticised on Saturday night for not including as much Samba content as they could in their Sister Act inspired routine  This evening, Bruno reasserted his critique telling host Tess Daly: “Well it’s very hard and at this stage it’s going to get even harder but purely based on what I saw tonight I firmly believe that the stronger overall more convincing powerful entertaining couple is Chris and Karen ” Shirley agreed with Bruno, explaining: “Well again this is a very, very difficult decision   READ MORE Strictly Come Dancing 2019: Beverley Knight leaves viewers in tears  “Both couples danced extremely well and for me it’s going to go personal taste, and I’m going to go with the couples that I felt had the most content and more powerfully entertaining and therefore I am saving Chris and Karen ” Fans were left fuming over Shirley’s decision to eliminate Alex due to her “personal taste” and rushed to Twitter to blast the head judge  One viewer shared: “HOLD UP, two judges voted to keep Alex in and just cos Shirley loves Chris he stayed in?!
