3Rivers Archery Your Longbow and Recurve Experts Hi, I’m Johnathan Karch with 3Rivers Archery. Today I’m showing off the
Carbon Express Shocker small game blunt This is an incredibly durable small game
point you can use it for small game hunting can also use it
for stump shooting, or anything that just want to shoot blunts at. Great for
target practice. What we’re gonna do is we’re gonna do some roving, also known as
stump shooting, walking through the woods and shooting at different targets.
Nice thing with this point other than being incredibly durable is it’s got the
five wire arms which grab onto anything. So you hit dirt, rocks, leaves, fur. Really,
really makes an impact on it and grabs on so you’re not losing your arrows likely.
That way you can shoot your regular arrows and not worry as much about
losing them under the brush. But let’s go do some shooting. All right roving / stump shooting,
we got nice big stump over there. Let’s shoot a 55-pound longbow at.
it. See how it does. Point weighs 100 grains, screw-in model only.
I normally shoot 150 grains, so that 50 grain difference can be there, but I’m not too
worried about it since I’m just out kind of shooting for fun for it. If you want
to up your weight there’s a insert weights that you can add to the back of your arrows
just so it balances out. But like I said I’m not too worried with it. You can
see how my arrow fight is. [thwack!] Let’s go see how it did. Okay, you know, it’s always… hard to believe somebody says,
“Oh yeah, I hit right where I was looking.” But I hit right where I was looking. With that, as you see for, one of the arms got
bent back, the others are in great shape Looks straight on it. All I’m gonna do is… Bend that arm right back up. and take another shot. [ MISSED ] [THWACK] That one stuck. All right, unscrewed just a little bit.
Could have been just the walking. Still looks pretty straight to it. We got a bent arm, and a few of them
lost their forward prongs. But for a hard hit like that. Hard to expect much… Much better. Normally when you’re stump shooting. You’re looking for rotten logs, things that are real soft targets for it. But you’re gonna come up on… Items like this that are a bit tougher. [THWACK] [hit, but not a thwack] [There is the thwack] I’m Johnathan Karch with 3Rivers Archery. If you have any questions, please comment below. If you liked the video please give
