Local Cricket DRS

(cheering) Jeez, skip that is plumb. Any danger of hitting one this year? He using my bat? – Local Cricket Hawk-Eye here. You there mate? – Yeah, I’m here. – Okay, first things first. He’s clearly out. – Yup, I agree on that. – But let’s start with the front foot. – Front foot, who checks
the front foot out. I haven’t been checking
the front foot all day. – Right, don’t worry about it. Let’s get at the other end. Can we go to real time Snicko, perhaps? Oh my word. He’s bet another postcode there. – Yeah, maybe Rambo will be able to help us with height at square leg? – Can we have a look at side on, please? Looks like he’s not paying attention. Instead watching the races. Let’s go to bloke tracking, please. Okay, so the correct decision is out. – I agree on that. – But we do recognize this team is a bunch of tossers. – Yes, spot on there. – It would also seem this
is your last decent bat. – Yup, fair to say. – Now, do you require a
lift home from this bloke? – I actually do require a
lift home from this bloke. – Then you can stick with your
original incorrect decision. You are on screen now. – Yeah, not out. – You are kiddin’? – It’s going down leg champ. – Cheers mate. Good call. I smashed that boys.

  1. This is not necessarily an easy decision. It is out or not out depending on who the batsman is what position he is batting, how is he batting and what team he plays for…That how it goes sometimes in lower level club cricket.

  2. I want Sportsbet to be official advert for WC 2019. I will pay to watch them!! I hope they are planning something this WC season with a new playlist or something.

  3. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚u guys r hilarious

  4. There should be a giant die/dice with 'not out' or 'out' on the sides. It could be rolled onto the outfield whenever the umpire is unsure. We used to do that for the table top Test Match game (which we heavily modified and improved) for LBW, caught behind and stumped. If it was launched out of a trebuchet or rocket, it would take the human error out of things and would be fair to both sides. In fact they should be using it at the World Cup; it would certainly entertain the crowds!

  5. That's why LBW is banned in Indian gully cricket as well as batsmen and bowlers mutually discuss caught behinds and run outs , and if no decision comes finally they take a toss and decide out or not out
Edit umpire just counts the balls in over

  6. best one I remember was umpire gave the batsman out caught behind, and when the batsman argued that the ball was nowhere near his bat and brushed his pad, umpire said ok you're out lbw then.

  7. When we played cricket in our childhood we used to make one of our friends as umpire, the result was that he didn't give us out even though we were out. Gradually as we grew up the rule was changed and now the umpire will be one from the opposition team, the result was we were out even though we weren't outπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜. Missing those days

  8. I used to throw the bat in the crease while I was running and say that my bat is in the crease so I can't get run-out lolπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜. Missing those days.

  9. Our Indian Gully Cricket rules For DRS is soo simple.. Its like "kha ma ki kasam " and everything is over..

  10. Not quite sure how cricket needs a Drag Reduction System. Owen Morgan clearly has no downforce problems!

  11. Do you call this local cricket seriously.if you show this to a gully cricketian in India he would had said it's an ICC tournament or something which is international cricket.

  12. In Indian gully cricket the drs is –
Out but the bat belongs to the current batsman so not out
Or else he will kick us out of the game!!

  13. As a bloke who plays Aussie park cricket and umpired numerous times the no ball line cracks me up. I check the first ball then I'm too worried about getting the lbw right to check again.

  14. "I smashed it!" (no you tapped it long after it crashed into your pads) … The non-striker shaking his head in disgust when the original incorrect not out decision is upheld just says it all …
