When people hear of DXSeat, they ask: “DXSeat? Isn’t that fake DXRacer?” Isn’t that the same as DXRacer?” In other words, they don`t see the difference. Fortunately, I`ve got both the former and the latter, and I`ll tell you everything I know about these chairs. Here we go. First of all, DXSeat is not a fake, it`s an independent brand. The entrepreneurial Poles decided that could make chairs better that DXRacer, and established their own brand. Thus it`s not some Chinese who compose these chairs in a basement out of remains of DXRacer, no. These chairs are designed in Europe, and only produced in China. The same as it`s done by everyone – Steelseries, Razer, Roccat, Zowie, and lots of others. There are 5 series of these chairs, which differ, mostly, in their design I haven`t found any other differences. Plus there`s one more series – Special Сollection, in which chair are branded with colors and logos of the teams and championships whose partner the company is – for now they include Fnatic, ESWC, Team Vitality, and Hitbox. As for the colors of these chairs – there`s a bunch of them. From simple black to bright-yellow and purple. I`ve got the same S series chair at home, which means Superb, but it`s green – I chose it to match my apartment design. So let`s see what`s different between DXSeat and DXRacer. If you look them up on the Internet, they are kind of the same, but if you place them one next to another, you can see the difference right away, and as for me DXRacer look sort of frail. It may depend on the series, but you can see with the naked eye that this one has a lot more filler, so the DXSeat seat is thicker and thus softer. The filler in DXSeat is said to be of higher quality and molds to the body shape, unlike DXRacer, it can be observed in how the cushion behaves, take a look: it molds to the body shape at once, and the DXRacer cushion is much harder, it`s just rigid, and as you may see on streams that nobody uses these cushions. You can open up the cushions and take a look at the filler, DXRacer is harder, and DXSeat is a lot softer. But as for me, the DXRacer cushion is more of a decorative thing, because the one for the back is too large and awfully uncomfortable, and the one for the head is too small, and for my neck to relax I have to push myself into the chair. Unlike DXseat: I just sit into it and the curve for the neck and the head is right there, and the head can have some rest, it`s superb. A minor drawback of this cushion is that if you`re short in height you can`t put it lower that it is and you won`t be able to rest your head upon it. The fastening looks like this and you can`t lower it if you need to. So if you`re short in height your head will rest on the cushion like this and it`s not comfortable, so specify the chair model before buying it, because some of them are better for shorter people and you`ll fit in perfectly. Next – the mechanism. Both chairs can be adjusted by height and their backs can be tilted back to any position, even like this. Nice. I`d go on and on lying down like this. This chair can do the same thing: adjust by height, and the back Well, this is maximum, but to tell the truth it depends on the series, other series backs can tilt to almost 180°, so everything`s okay. The problem is, in DXRacer that`s all done with the same lever, take a look: unlock, lock, and in some time such a construction causes the chair to start wobbling a little, and that`s not cool. And now take a look how it`s done in DXSeat. One level to adjust height. Here, of course, the same as in DXRacer, the back tilt lever, and this one enables the tilting mechanism, now it`s enabled, and now it`s disabled, and you can lock the back in any position, the same as here. But this chair doesn`t wobble due to structural features. Now to armrests – in all the DXSeat models they`re adjustable by height, width, length, and angle. In DXRacer models armrests are adjustable by height and angle. Next – the base and the wheels. The bases of both chairs are metal and are unlikely to break. But mine is thicker, and so more reliable. As for the wheels: the DXSeat ones are a bit larger and make almost no noise when you roll. Unlike DXRacer. But what is better in DXRacer – there are footrests. As for the cover material, I didn`t spot any differences, I believe they both have the same PU leather that is transpiring and doesn`t make your asses sweat. But I still think that in the heat they will sweat. The chairs withhold 150 kg (330 lbs), and the box reads you cannot sit on them like streamer Karina does or lie down like this. Although I`d lie like this all the time. Like Karina, but lying down. Double damage! I`ve violated all the laws just now. As for the frame, it`s metal for both chairs, but mine has more cover and the frame isn`t felt
through that much. But here it`s felt quite clear. One more thing – if you have cats, teach them not to go up your chair, because once I woke up in the night to the sound of my cat SHARPENING HIS FREAKING CLAWS AGAINST MY NEW CHAIR! And now when leaving or going to sleep I have to cover it with a blanket, so bear it in mind. To summarize – the chair is awesome. Very comfortable, looks cool, and as a rule costs the same as Racer. (In my country) And for the differences – you can see them for yourselves. That`s all, my name is Max, subscribe to my Youtube channel, and see you!
