The Nissan Clipper name has been used for two separate commercial vehicle ranges.  Originally this was just a relabelled version of Prince’s “Clipper” light/medium duty commercial vehicle range (1958-81).  In 2003 the nameplate was revived for a badge engineered version of the Mitsubishi Minicab.

In April 2016, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) admitted that its employees had falsified fuel-efficiency data for the Nissan Dayz and Nissan Dayz Roox. The resultant scandal culminated in Nissan acquiring a controlling interest in MMC the following month.

The Nissan Kix RS: 

Since 2008 Mitsubishi has produced the Nissan Kix, an OEM version of the Pajero Mini, expanding a similar deal already in place for the Mitsubishi eK/Nissan Otti.  In Japan, it was sold at a specific retail chain called ‘Galant Shop’.  Production of the Mitsubishi Pajero Mini ended in June 2012.

Since June 8th 2005, Nissan Motors has received 36,000 eK Wagons annually from Mitsubishi, to be sold within the domestic market as the Nissan Otti.  The badge engineered Otti was still sold alongside the Dayz until being discontinued on June 28th 2013.

The Nissan Pino is a kei-car produced by Nissan from 2007-2010, it is an ‘Original Equipment Manufacturer‘ (OEM) version of the 6th Generation Suzuki Alto.  It is also available as the Mazda Carol.
